Prostate health is a vital aspect of men's overall well-being, particularly as they age. One of the most common prostate-related conditions is benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH), a noncancerous enlargement of the prostate gland that significantly impacts the quality of life for millions of men worldwide. Understanding BPH, its symptoms, and treatment options is essential for making clear decisions about prostate health. Boundless has contributed to this crucial need through its work on behalf of Aquablation therapy, a novel treatment option for BPH.

BPH is characterized by enlargement of the prostate gland, which can cause urinary problems as the enlarged prostate presses against the urethra. It is the most common prostate condition for men older than age 50 and up to a third of men age 65 or older experience symptoms.

There are several options available for BPH patients, ranging from lifestyle changes and medications to surgery. They are all aimed at reducing frequent urination, weak urine flow, and other symptoms of BPH that disturb sleep and affect the mental health of men who experience them. Surgery is typically used for men who do not respond well to the available medications or have more severe symptoms.

One of the most innovative surgical treatments available is Aquablation therapy, a minimally invasive procedure that uses a waterjet delivered with robot-assisted precision to remove the prostate tissue causing the blockage. This procedure has gained attention for its effectiveness and reduced side effects compared with traditional surgical options.

Recognizing the need for an optimized and patient-friendly website, we embarked on a mission to enhance Aquablation.com. The goal was to create a platform that not only provides comprehensive information about the condition and how Aquablation therapy treats it but also supports patients in making informed decisions about their health.

To achieve this, we conducted a thorough audit of the existing website, including a deep dive into user behavior and how patients interacted with the site. We found several opportunities for improvement, particularly in making the website more intuitive and accessible across different devices. We also met with actual BPH patients to understand their needs and experiences. These insights were invaluable in informing the website's redesign, ensuring that it addresses the real concerns and questions patients have when exploring their treatment options.

Our approach is a patient-first mindset, combining data-driven insights with empathy and understanding. The methodology involved a segmented analysis of user interactions, focusing on key areas, such as click patterns, scrolling behavior, and engagement with call-to-action elements. This allowed us to identify pain points and areas where the website could be more responsive to user needs.

The result of this comprehensive approach is a more streamlined, informative, and user-friendly Aquablation.com. Patients can now more easily find the information they need, whether they are looking for details about the procedure, seeking a local provider, or exploring frequently asked questions. The enhanced site not only educates but also empowers patients, giving them the tools they need to take control of their prostate health.

Prostate health is a critical issue that affects millions of men, and having access to accurate, easy-to-navigate resources is crucial for those managing conditions such as BPH. Whether it’s through comprehensive audits, data-driven design, or empathetic content strategy, Boundless is dedicated to helping healthcare brands create platforms that foster trust and engagement and, ultimately, improve lives.

If your brand is ready to take its digital presence to the next level, Boundless has the expertise and passion to make it happen.
